Sri Nallamilli Seshareddy as a founder chairman, promoted the educational society in the name and style of Aditya Academy at Kakinada in the year 1984, with a vision and mission to create a platform for holistic growth and success to students at all levels.

Aditya has made its entry into the educational arena with a public school to meet the needs of primary and secondary education. In succession and with rapid strides, the academy established a number of Junior Colleges, Degree Colleges, PG Colleges, Engineering Colleges, Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges, and Teacher Training Institutions.

Aditya College of Engineering (ACOE) was founded as the premier promoter of quality education in coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh in 2008 under Sarojini Educational Society. Dr N. Sesha Reddy, as a founder chairman, promoted this educational institution, with a mission, to offer the best engineering education with unmatched innovations in the process of teaching and learning by aiming at the holistic development of the students. The College is situated in an eco-friendly area of 11.27 acres with thick greenery at Surampalem, Gandepalli Mandal, Kakinada District, Andhra Pradesh and is 15 KM away from Samalkot Railway Station on Howrah-Chennai Railway line in South Central Railway and 35 Km away from Kakinada and Rajahmundry on ADB Road. Aditya College of Engineering (ACOE) is approved by AICTE, recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). The college has also received UGC recognition under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. ACOE has got JNTUK Approved Research Centers (JNTUK-ARC) for departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering & Computer Science Engineering. ‘Research Centre’ status from JNTUK to serve professional researchers. It puts at the service of users and its relations with different disciplines. It is especially designed to be a platform for research and dissemination of information. and accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in the year 2018 and accredited by NBA for four programmes, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering & Computer Science Engineering in the year 2022.

The College has three academic Buildings with a total carpet area of 44,524 Sq. Mts. Apart from that there are two boys’ hostels and one girl’s hostel buildings and proudly offers 6 UG level and three PG level Programmes in Engineering in Engineering, one PG Programmes in MBA and four Diploma Programmes. Departments like Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering are among these programmes. These Programmes are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). The Institution follows all the norms and decisions as per the regulatory bodies – JNTUK, SBTET as well as AICTE for the required physical infrastructure, recruitment of the faculty, admission procedure, fee structure and curriculum to enact.
